For more than twenty five years, the Pima Association of Taxpayers has supported taxpayers, arduously working to research issues and supply information, in order to assist in decision making regarding fiscal policies and best practices. We maintain an active, vital role within our community.
Volunteers committed to PAT goals are always welcome! We sponsor public forums; attend many meetings, including Mayor and Council, Pima County Board of Supervisors, Rio Nuevo Board, Pima County Bond Advisory Committee and various school districts; keep abreast of legislative and ballot measures; publish our findings in newsletters, news releases, ballot pamphlet arguments and on the PAT website; and speak in public to share our information.
We encourage you to become more involved in service to our community by joining us in pursuit of our important goals. Since our organization is comprised solely of volunteers, we are independent, non-partisan and maintain ability to efficiently use dues and contributions for the benefit of taxpayers.
We research and take action upon matters affecting all of us who live in Pima County and the state of Arizona. We thoroughly study proposals, ballot measures, legislative actions and public records related to cities, school districts, colleges and universities, with reference primarily as to how they spend our money.
